Chris Mako just emailed me his remix for the new track called “To Be Continued” by Evidence of the Dilated Peoples.
I just listened to it three times in a row and I have to say, honestly, I like that remix even more than the original track.
The idea for the video is also extreme, I mean on this backwards rollercoaster holding a camera while rapping, simple and cool.
Have a listen right here, spread it to your friends or share it on #MusicMonday Twitter ;) (@chrishimself84)

When it turned out that we were going to Málaga in Spain, the second thing that came to my mind – after bullfighting – was Gibraltar, not really knowing what to expect exactly to be honest. But it was a super interesting trip. Not only has the Rock of Gibraltar an interesting past as a strategically important location, this place is also not the usual today, because it is still somehow British territory. We were in the queue of cars into Gibraltar for one hour, even though they didn’t really look at the passports and only checked that the number of passports corresponded to the number of people in the car.
I also read about Spain and Gibraltar getting closer to each other in recent years after the border was even closed from 1969 until 1985, but there are still some funny things going on: Last year, Spanish coast guards were going after a boat of some drug dealers and eventually arrested them, but had to entered the port of Gibraltar in order to get them – only to be arrested themselves by the Police of Gibraltar. LMFAO!!
The first thing that you have to go across when entering Gibraltar is the runway of the Gibraltar airport. Yes, the runway itself.
Had to take a pic of me. Where else can you WALK over a runway that is in regular operation?!?
First, we ended up at the Europe Point – more by chance, but it was a good way to start off, because I wanted to go to Gibraltar mostly because you can SEE Africa from that spot. On that day I only could see the top of a mountain in Africa and you can also see it on the picture – a little bit left of the ship.
OMG is that photo lopsided!!! But if Chicago and Wellington are the Windy Cities, this spot has to be the Windy Coast.
I’d really like to know how it is when there is actually a storm going on in the area.
After that, we went up the Upper Rock to check out the nice view of the Bay of Gibraltar and all the big ass containerships. In person it is really impressive.
On the following pic you’ll see that African mountain again in the horizon, plus some of the abandoned military facilities, that are now populated by Barbary Macaques, the only wild monkeys found in Europe.
Barbary Malaga 1.
Barbary Malaga 2.
Barbary Malaga 3.
Our final stop was the city, where you can shop for a variety of tax free goods. But advice from me: know the prices at home!!! Not everything seemed to be cheaper.
Don’t know. Had to laugh out loud, when I saw that outfit.
And I’ve also seen that shirt design somewhere… somewhere before!!! Fucking biters! :)
I also bought a hat there, since I was looking for a cool black hat all the time. And I’ll make sure to keep that bad boy away from fire. Thanks for the advice. :) Maybe we should add that as well on the tag of our next shirts LOL.
RUN FFM Sticker, Main Street, Gibraltar.
HELLO KITTY & BOB ESPONJA!!! Obviously a poster in the town of La Línea de la Concepción, the border town on the Spanish side.
And here is one final look at the Rock of Gibraltar.
Next up this week are posts on Marbella & Málaga respectively.

I went out yesterday to watch Kitanos 15th and newest film called “Outrage” at the Fantasy Filmfest in Frankfurt am Main.
The movie was a solid yakuza flick, sometimes it had points where it was tough to follow the characters and probably its not the best of the Kitano movies but I was still able to enjoy it.
All I can say is that if you are a fan of Takeshi Kitano and Yakuza movies go ahead and rent or buy the DVD (I’m not sure if this will get a regular cinema release in Germany).
Heres the official trailer.
Check out the filmfestivals schedule right here.
The Fantasy Filmfest will be in Frankfurt am Main until the 1st of September and will continue in Stuttgart.
They had this billboard up on the wall and people could write shoutouts or a quick opinion about the movie onto it.
I thought this one right here was quite funny.
Afterwards we went to chill out at a bar a little bit, well good luck with that on a sunday in Frankfurt.
We ended up at the McCafe and I tried out their frappes which, suprisingly, is good. I usually just go for the normal coffee or cappucino.
Seems like the whole city got ready for movies and filmmaking.
Wanna look like some wannabe Clark Kent with a plastic camera? There you go!.
Thats it for todays post, let me know what you would like to watch from the list on the Fantasy Filmfest website.
peace

… and now I’m back. It was great to just chill & relax and having weather, food and some smack about other people as nearly the only topic of conversation for a little over a week. And now I’m hungry for some new exicting stuff to happen. But let my first hit you with some random thoughts about my vacation near Málaga, Spain:
- You can’t help but feel like kind of a big deal when you are droven to the hotel all by yourself in a 50-person coach.
- Grand Hotel probably only means Big Hotel.
- You can get more Louis Vuitton at the seafront than at a LV Store.
- On the way home I’m faster than the navigation system.
- Children are the real kings of Spain.
- If the 1,5 hours waiting for your show was better than your actual show, well…!
- I wouldn’t believe it, but yes, there’s one ocasion, when people in Spain are indeed quiet and even demand for it: When the matador stands in front of the bull pointing his sword towards him..
- If there is a slight chance the police is going after you, just run and have fun with it!
First off, the pics of the view from my room (Muchas Graçias to Daniel!!!).
I’m already apologizing, if I should keep it up to put ‘Buti’ in front of other words, because the neighborhood of our hotel was called Butbamba and it was so much fun to me to play with it. My three favorite creations: Butimama, Butiplaya, Buticar. It was really everywhere.
I also noticed some weird store names. Third place goes out to SUPER ALI. Second place is BABCHIC. And the winner is EROSKI!!! Wonder, what all the broskis are buying in that kind of supermarket.
And now my Instax pics!! Some you may expect from a summer holiday – others maybe not.
The first thing I saw at the hotel was this! These bad boy cats are everywhere right now.
This was on a wall at a store right around the corner.
In front of the Plaza de Toros in Málaga.
I liked that, because you can insert what you want.
There was a campfire every evening at the seafront.
This was some cool streetart in Fuengirola, the next bigger “city” or whatever.
I took this in Gibraltar, while having a great sandwich!! To me it also looks a little bit like the photo is painted.
I used to go for a run every other day and I always passed that backboard. But I didn’t notice it until the last time. NEW BOOM ACTION!
This right here was the reason for this vacation. I just wanted to go to the beach. I wouldn’t have cared, if that beach would have been in Greenland. Even better it was BUTIPLAYA!
There is also one pigeon on the pic, if you look closely, but there were a whole lot more!!!
It doesn’t look like it on the Instax pic, but the water was very clear!!!
I’m happy to be here again, especially after a super turbulent approach for landing!! I will have three more posts in the next few days of our trips to Marbella, Gibraltar & Málaga (including bullfight). But if you are curious enough, you can check out the pics on my flickr alreadyyy.

P.S.: Also worth noting is my bus ride from the aiport to home, where I was – again – all by myself & special shout outs to the bus driver, who dropped me off in front of my front door, on his way to the bus depot :)
I had to do some stuff in Friedberg today nothing special but since I want to keep these photowalk blogs up and going I took a few snaps from today.
This is the train station in Friedberg, I like how it looks.
For such a small city like Friedberg their train station has quite alot of tracks.
Inside the train station we decided to check out the magazine stands and browsed a bit through the manga section, yes it became quite standard/mainstream in Germany so that almost every
magazine / newspaper shop has mangas now.
This one right here is like a free preview copy for you to grab, its like a taste test for the newest mangas released. I also like the dinosaur character “Gon” that some of you guys might remember
from Tekken 3 ;).
A recommendation from a friend of mine who knows the Anime “Highschool of the Dead”.
Zelda Manga??
World of Warcraft Manga/Comic ?!?!?!??! Milking the cashcow a little more now huh?
RUNFFM is your personal LOVE BLOG!
I thought this book looked interesting since its about japanese popculture a topic that I am into alot, there is alot of stuff in this book that I remember from my last few trips to Tokyo and some
who have been there might recognize alot of it too.
Tokyo Clash on Amazon.de for 14,95 Euro
Passmo or Suica card do you still have yours from your Japan trip? I still carry mine around every day lol I left it in my wallet it also still works after I have been using it every year when I am in Tokyo.
A motorcycle designed like a toilet or like a bullet train? Or the toilet designed like a bullet train? huh?
Some more regular home appliances that look “extremely futuristic”.
Everyone who has been in Tokyo remembers the toilets and those implemented bathroom sinks on top of the toilets, always thought that was a pretty neat idea but theres no place to put some soap next to it.
I think the left looks like a “Donki” or “Don Quixote/Don Quijote” its a multi level department kind of store with almost everything you need or dont need in your daily life in Tokyo, make sure to visit one of those when you are in Tokyo you will recognize them by a big sign with a blue penguin on top in a weird costume lol. Heres also a pretty cool flickr group dedicated just to “Donki”.
There are still some old style cinemas in Friedberg, with all those multiplexes dominating the cinema scene its kinda nice to see one of those still up and running.
Btw. I head that new movie by M. Night Shyamalan sucks (like his last few movies too? whats wrong thought he made good movies once)
I have this tradition that everytime I have to go to Friedberg I drive by the local Burger King on the way back lol this time I was joined by Stefan for some good “health food”.
And thats the end of todays photoblog I’ll keep you updated also make check out our T-Shirts we will also put up the white colorway online soon.
Chris (@chrishimself84)
Mike (@mikemiguel69) a day one supporter of RUNFFM.COM recently bought an old Polaroid camera for only 1 Euro at a fleamarket here in Frankfurt and decided to try out the new Impossible Project PX film.
He decided to record a little vlog for RUNFFM.COM showing you how the new film works and checking if the Polaroid camera is still working.

Go ahead check out the video and make sure to subscribe to my channel http://www.youtube.com/chrishimself84 so you can stay up to date with my current work.
peace !

Hey, I decided to cut together some old and new footage from my last two Tokyo trips.
Stefan and me were thinking about documenting our Tokyo trip and call it Gauweed-TV , a “Gauweed” is someone who has incredible powers and usually is a descendant of the Alpengauweed who is a big hairy guy living on a mountain. People who have been pwned by Gauweed or the Alpengauweed himself are usually referred to as “Ignatz” or “Ignätze”.
Okay so here are the videos the first two videos are from 2009 , the audio is quite bad because the shotgun mic that I used was broken, audio is only in german.
And this one is from last April (2010) we went to Nakano Broadway. The video is also hardsubbed in english, audio is german.
Hope you enjoy it I will continue this series whenver I am in Japan with Stefan Gauweed.

This is going to be a quick one, Julian made this really nice video recap of the Flutschfingerparty in Frankfurt organized by Market41 about a week back. Please check it out =)
cheers,

It’s finally vacation time for me! I’m telling you, I need it so badly right now!!! Maybe you noticed that I didn’t post nearly at all, even after my tests at university were over. Part of it had to do with other obligations, part of it with me running around with no head and also of course with all the stuff that is involved with our shirts (It’s a process).
But whatever the case, I’m taking my talents to a beach in Southern Europe. It was a very hard decision and I didn’t know until this morning yadayadayada….. For real, I’m just looking forward to chill & relax at a nice place for the next few days.
But of course I won’t leave without leaving something for you. In this case it’s music I will be listening to while chillin’ at the beach.
The Drop Top Summer Mix 2010 by DJ Steph
I’m off to the airport, but @chrishimself84 will keep you entertained of course. Take care everybody!!!

Last Thursday, I came across the WORLD PRESS PHOTO 10 Exhibition at Frankfurt’s Main Railway Station and was surprised to see something like this at this location. But it makes perfectly sense. Most of the people there are in a hurry (like I am also 90% of the time there), but many people actually took the time to have a look at the photographs, as this exhibition makes you realize, that there are much more bigger problems than missing the next train or most of the other problems we have in our day-to-day life.
As you can guess, the majority of the photographs display violence, poverty, riots, dead bodies, suffering, war, cruelty, inhumanity – I guess, you get the point – but also sports is a part of the exhibition.
I was really glad, that we took the time out to walk through the exhibition. I just checked and unfortunately TODAY is the last day of the exhibition in Frankfurt and it will move on (next stops on Germany: Cologne & Stuttgart – exhibition calender), but if you want to, you can have a look at all the photographs online as well.
I will post some photos here, but it’s not for people of nervous disposition obviously.
Sorry to take the role of a preacher right now, but if you are healthy, have something to eat & a place you can call home in a safe environment along with good people around you, you are relly leading a good life, my friends.

This post is dedicated to some of our strongest supporters out there, everyone who bought one of our RUNFFM T-Shirts and those who actually send us a picture of them wearing it.
All of them are extremely awesome, look at what Rodney did who was here on vacation just a few weeks back.
Are you a Yankees fan? =) I guess RUNFFM.COM is cool with the Yankees now huh? haha
There are some more cool pictures at Rodneys flickr page and make sure to check out his newest online venture called JuntosWorldWide.com , its a travelsite/blog hybrid where people can share photos and videos about their recent travels around the globe. It’s a little different than the usual travel websites since you get the information right from the person travelling in a kind of refreshing and personal style, kinda like our blog where you find random information on our daily “adventures” in our local midst or on tour =).
He is also into vlogging and produces little videoclips like the one right here where he interviewed yours truly.
But Rodney is not the only one I really like this shot of Philipp too.

Mike after the epic Germany worldcup game against Argentina.

She is just referred as “Miss Undercover somewhere” lol. ;)

We like those alot! thank you for sending them our way.
If you want to send us your picture wearing a RUNFFM T-Shirt, send them via email to webmaster@runffm.com , we always do appreciate it =).
cheers,
Chris (@chrishimself84)
Wow.. what a day again for a blog this kinda starts to feel like alot of work haha but we do it for the joy of it and since we know that we have some readers who also like what we do
we keep on doing what we do.
We decided to reprint a small number of our RUNFFM T-Shirts and had to pick them up today we really needed this order asap. so we were really happy that our screenprinter
was so kind to help us out last minute. Also we took the chance to make those requested white versions of the shirt, hope you are going to like the white RUNFFM T-Shirt,
they will be launched online at the end of August!!.
Our time was so limited that we had to do some paperwork right at the screenprinters place, I mean Andi (@theballatician) was doing the work, I was just playing around with my
new HTC Wildfire haha, never had a phone with a touchscreen and never thought of getting one but this one seems decent.
Right after we had to go on a delivery tour, its RUNFFM courier all over again haha.
Thats David our first customer that received a white RUNFFM T-Shirt! =) Hoooray! haha.
We also put a few in stock at Market41 on Fressgasse 41 in Frankfurt am Main if you are here go grab them we are also planning on putting them in stock at Julies Barbershop but
because you have to wait for 30-40mins. at a local supermarket to buy a “Leberkäs Brötchen” (google that) we didnt have the time left to drop them of.
We were in such a hurry and Andi had to make it to his Basketball training but its all going to be worth it I’m sure.
We are just lucky to be able to put out some kind of product, in this case T-Shirts, to connect with our people from Frankfurt and people who are into this blogger subculture/popculture stuff.
I think it is the easiest way for us to put our name out and to give you some dope T-Shirts to represent Frankfurt plus it finances some of our expenses and its a hell lot of fun to do it aswell.
All the photos have been taken with a HTC Wildfire cellphone since I forgot my Ricoh GR Digital II at home.
I think it takes decent pictures, good enough for blogposts, twitter, fb and such =).
Give me a holla if you are on twitter @chrishimself84 just hover over my name and hit follow.
peace and keep that “Swaggarona” up by grabbing a T-Shirt at the store =). The white version will be availibe online at the end of August!!
